The cartridge AQUAPRO (PR-UPF-KS reference) is an intensive processing module designed for 10-inch filter holders. Unlike standard filters, it uses a two-level structure for optimum purification: a first layer of KDF-55 (copper-zinc alloy) followed by a granulated activated carbon layer (GAC).

The KDF-55 acts by oxidoring to neutralize inorganic pollutants and heavy metals, while protecting activated carbon against bacterial proliferation. This synergy provides water from exceptional purity, free from chemical contaminants and microorganisms, all in a compact format ideal for under-sink purifiers or reverse osmosis systems.

Maintenance & Recommendations

Replacement: To maintain effective protection against heavy metals, it is recommended to replace the cartridge every 12 months maximum.

Commissioning: a few minutes rinsing is necessary for installation to stabilize the media and evacuate coal dust.

Pre-filtration imperative: a sediment filter (5 microns) must be installed upstream to prevent the physical particles from sticking the KDF and coal.

Use: Particularly recommended for highly chlorinated city waters or drilling water with traces of metals.
