10 AVEC POLYPHOSPHATES

The cartridge AQUAPRO (Reference PR-UPF-P) is an efficient and economical solution to combat the misdeeds of limestone. It is composed of a 10-inch container filled with high purity polyphosphate crystals.

Unlike a softener that removes limestone, this cartridge acts by sequestration: polyphosphates slowly dissolve in water and coat calcium and magnesium ions. This prevents limestone from precipitating and forming tartar in the heating resistors and in the pipes. It also creates a protective film on the metal walls, thus limiting the risk of corrosion.

Maintenance & Recommendations

Replacement: The cartridge must be replaced or recharged when the crystals are consumed (usually every 6 to 12 months depending on the water consumption).

Pre-filtration: It is strongly recommended to install a sediment filter (20 or 5 microns) upstream to prevent the physical impurities from covering the crystals, which would block their dissolution.

Usage: mainly intended for the protection of household appliances and hot water.

IMPORTANT NOTE: The water treated with polyphosphates remains potable, but it is advisable not to use it for the exclusive drink (according to local regulations in force).
