The cartridge AQUAPRO PR-680-E is a high-performance processing module designed specifically for the elimination of nitrates in drinking water. It contains a Purolite A520e ion exchange resin, recognized worldwide for its ability to selectively capture nitrates, even in the presence of sulphates.

This cartridge is essential in areas of strong agricultural activity or when the analysis of your water reveals a nitrate rate greater than 25 mg / l. It provides optimal protection for the whole family, especially for infants and sensitive persons, preventing the risks associated with the presence of nitrogenated derivatives in water.

High selectivity: Thanks to the A520E purolite resin, it primarily target nitrates without being saturated prematurely by other mineral salts.

Installation & Use

Recommended placement: It is advisable to place the anti-nitrate cartridge before an activated charcoal cartridge. This allows to neutralize the slight residual taste typical that new resins can sometimes transmit to water.

Replacement: Perform a quarter turn to remove the used cartridge and insert the new PR-680-E.

Rinse: Let the water flow for 3 to 5 minutes after installation to rinse the bed of resins.

Maintenance: For reasons of bacterial hygiene, the replacement is imperative every year, even if the exchange capacity is not totally exhausted
