The cartridge AQUAPRO (Reference PR-SWS-1045-05) is a high quality sediment filter designed for Big Blue 10 inch format filters. Thanks to its expanded diameter (4.5 inches / approx. 11.5 cm), it offers a filtration area and a sediment retention capacity well above the "Slim" cartridges.

With a finesse of filtration of 5 microns, it provides fine and rigorous protection of the water network. It is designed to capture microscopic impurities such as fine sand, silt, rust particles and suspended sediments. Its structure, consisting of a pure polypropylene wire wound around a rigid central core, guarantees a gradual filtration: the largest particles are trapped in the periphery while the finest are retained at the heart of the media.

Maintenance & Recommendations

Replacement: It is recommended to replace the cartridge every 6 months. A significant pressure drop or a color change in the media (from white to brown) are the signs of saturation.

Recommended use: Perfect in finishing filtration after a lighter pre-filter (25 or 50 microns) to optimize its life.

Installation: When replacing, thoroughly clean the filter bowl and check the state of the seal.
