CARTOUCHE 10 CHARBON ACTIF GRANULE

The cartridge AQUAPRO (Reference PR-UPF-10) is one of the most used standards for the treatment of domestic and tertiary water. Designed to adapt to 10-inch filter holders (SLIM format), it uses grain activated carbon technology to purify water by chemical adsorption.

Its main function is not to filter the suspended particles, but to act on the chemical composition of the water. It is housed in an hermetic container with a post-filtration pad to prevent fine coal particles from escaping through the network.

Maintenance & Recommendations

Replacement: To ensure optimum hygiene and avoid bacterial proliferation, it is recommended to replace the cartridge every 6 months.

Commissioning: a rinsing step is necessary. During the first passage of the water, let flow for about 5 minutes to evacuate the fine coal dust (the water may seem black at first, it is a normal phenomenon).

Recommended pre-filtration: granulated coal is sensitive to physical clogging. It is highly recommended to install a sediment filter (coil or 5 or 25 micron extruded) upstream to protect the coal of sludge and sand.

Installation Meaning: Be sure to respect the installation direction indicated by the upper seal of the cartridge.
