Product Description

The cartridge AQUAPRO (Reference PR-GAC-10) is one of the most effective solutions to improve the organoleptic qualities of water. It is specifically designed to eliminate chlorine, poor tastes, unpleasant odors as well as volatile organic compounds (VOCs) in drinking water.

Unlike compressed coal blocks, granulated activated carbon offers excellent adsorption capacity while allowing a fluid water flow with minimal pressure loss. This cartridge is ideal for a sink installation, on a home network or as a pre-treatment step for an opposite osmosis.

Maintenance & Recommendations

Commissioning (rinsing): During the first installation, it is imperative to let the water flow for about 2 to 3 minutes. This makes it possible to evacuate the coal dust (black water initially) inherent in the transport of the granulated media.

Replacement Frequency: It is advisable to replace the cartridge every 6 months or after the treatment of approximately 6,000 to 10,000 liters of water (depending on the exact model) to prevent the saturation and release of pollutants.

Pre-Filtration: To extend the life of the coal, it is strongly recommended to install a sediment filter (5 or 20 microns) upstream to prevent the cartridge from being clogged by sludge and sand.

Use: Use only on microbiologically safe water (water from the public network).
