The cartridge AQUAPRO POLYRAY (Reference PR-POLYRAY-10-001) represents the highest level of mechanical filtration before ultrafiltration or reverse osmosis. With a filtration threshold of 0.1 micron, it is designed to remove microscopic impurities that standard filters can not stop.

Its exclusive multilayer structure allows deep filtration while offering exceptional dirt retention capacity. It is particularly effective for stopping bacteria, cysts, yeasts and fine colloidal particles. Unlike PES membranes, the polyray series is fully made of polypropylene, which gives it excellent chemical resistance and compatibility with a wide range of fluids (water, alcohols, acids)

Maintenance & Recommendations

Replacement: essential as soon as you notice a significant drop in the flow. Given its finesse, replacement is generally recommended every 6 months in sensitive home use.

Required pre-filtration: To avoid immediate clogging, it is imperative to install a series of upstream filters (eg micron and 5 microns). The polyray must be the last mechanical filtration step.

Typical applications: Protection head protection, laboratory water filtration, beverage clarification (beer, wine), or final UV sterilizer front for micro-biologically controlled water.
