The cartridge AQUAPRO (PR-PPS-1045-1) is a Big Blue sediment filter, designed to provide high-precision filtration on networks requiring significant flow. With its expanded diameter (4.5 inches), it has a filtration area and a sediment retention capacity well above the standard "slim" cartridges.

With a finesse of filtration of 1 micron, it represents the finest level of protection for the sediment range. Made of woven polypropylene fibers, it is capable of stopping the microscopic particles such as fine rust dust, very thin stunning and micro-sediments. Its NSF certification guarantees total chemical neutrality, without fiber release, which makes it ideal for sensitive potabilization and industrial processes.

Maintenance & Recommendations

Recommended pre-filtration: To prevent this 1 micron cartridge from sticking too quickly, it is strongly recommended to install a pre-filter of 20 or 50 microns upstream if the water is cloudy.

Replacement: It is recommended to change the cartridge every 6 to 12 months. A significant flow drop is the main saturation indicator.
