The cartridge AQUAPRO (PR-UPF-20-KS reference) is an ultra-complete processing filter designed for 20-inch slim filter holders. This high-end model combines two advanced media to offer a much wider water purification than a classic charcoal cartridge.

It contains 1 kg of KDF-55, a high purity copper and zinc alloy that uses the principle of oxidation (redox) to eliminate pollutants, associated with granulated activated carbon (GAC). This synergy is particularly effective for neutralizing heavy metals, chlorine and prevent bacterial development. Thanks to its 20 "format, it is ideal for demanding facilities requiring constant flow and maximum network protection.

Maintenance & Recommendations

Replacement: For optimal efficiency on heavy metals, it is recommended to replace the cartridge every 12 months.

Rinsing: 5 to 10 minutes rinsing is required when commissioning to eliminate coal dust and activate the media.

Pre-filtration essential: To protect this expensive media from physical clogging, a 5 micron sediment cartridge must be installed upstream.

Positioning: is usually placed after the sediment filter and before a possible UV sterilizer or ultrafiltration system.
